Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver
Lauren Oliver has and extraordinary talent for words, for being able to tell a story and have the reader be completely absorbed into it. Pandemonium is infectious and packed with gut-churning action. Though, there are a few things that niggled away at me.
I knew Alex couldn’t be dead, and I hated Lena for believing so. For not searching for him, giving up hope. Maybe it’s the natural thing to do — to move on — but it felt forced to me. She rushed to save Julian, a guy she barely knew, and yet she wouldn’t try to find Alex, to see if he was still alive.
I do love the originality of the story though — that love is a disease — and I would recommend it to lovers of YA.
